#1 Urban Decay’s All-Nighter Foundation

This foundation is fantastic! It’s like full coverage on steroids, but without feeling heavy or cakey. (Which is a must for accomplishing a soft-glam look.) And guess what? It’s waterproof! So no worries if you get caught in a rainstorm or accidentally splash water on your face. Plus, it’s oil-free, a game-changer for those with oily skin. Oh, and did I mention how comfortable it is to wear? Seriously, it feels like a second skin, and that’s the look and feel we’re going for with soft glam.

Urban Decay knows what they’re doing when it comes to makeup. I mean, their Naked eyeshadow palettes are iconic for a reason. Those shadows have set the bar high with their amazing color payoff, flattering shades, and affordable prices. It’s no wonder other brands have tried to recreate the naked palette color story. Just know, that you can trust me when I say this foundation is in great company. You’re gonna love it!

I love how just a tiny amount of this foundation can go a long way! Seriously, one or one and a half pumps should be plenty. I like to apply it with a flat brush, then go back and blend it in with a domed foundation brush. Finally, I use a damp beauty blender to remove any excess product. You’re good to go with a light dusting of loose powder and a spritz of setting spray to look fabulous all day!

I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re not a full-coverage girl, but if you are, you are in for a treat. This foundation sells for $40 and has 4,500 reviews at ulta.com, rating it 4 out of 5 stars.

#2 Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

How much do I love this concealer? You have no idea! Let me tell you, this stuff is like magic. Seriously, I can’t even begin to explain how awesome it is. This is always my number-one concealer pick because it ticks all the boxes. It has the perfect coverage for any skin type, the shade range is on point, the quality is just top-notch, and the price is reasonable too. And let’s not forget; you get a good amount of product with every purchase. Seriously, what more could you ask for? This concealer is the bomb.

There’s no strong smell, and it contains amazing ingredients like shea, mango butter, and licorice root, reducing inflammation and calming the skin. This makes it perfect for hiding under-eye imperfections. And once it dries, it stays in place! That’s a must for making sure your soft-glam lasts throughout the day. No wrinkles or creases! (Just be speedy, it dries quickly!) I also use it for highlighting and contouring and as a base for eyeshadow. Many shades and three different formula options are available to find the perfect color for your skin type.

This concealer sells for $31 at Ulta and has over 37,000 reviews with an average rating of 4.7 stars.

#3 Juvia’s Place Bronzed Duo Palette

Juvias’s Place does it again! These bronzer duos are going to be in my makeup kit forever. The color payoff is amazing, the duo colors compliment each other perfectly, and it’s incredibly easy to apply and blend.

Juvia’s Place is pretty well know for having incredibly highly pigmented eyeshadows; however, the quality and color payoff doesn’t stop there. I have tried the brands’ blushes, lip products, and brushes and they are equally high quality and richly pigmented.

I like to apply both of these shades creating an ombre look. I’ll start with the lighter shade using a domed fluffy brush to slightly toast around the edged of my face along the hairline, slightly higher than the hollows of the cheeks, and with two soft parallel lines down either side of the bridge of my nose to contour. Then move into the darker of the two shades very lightly tapping along the permiter of my face for a sunkissed soft glam glow

This bronzer duo sells for $20 at ulta.com and has some great ratings at 4.8 out of 5 stars.

#4 Natasha Denona’s Safari Palette

This eyeshadow palette was my introduction into the Natasha Denona product line and I am so glad that it was. This palette caught my eye because of the all matte shades and beautiful neutral color story and also the price. This palette sold for $69. I remember asking myself why?! And it was because of how velvety these shades glide on, how well they blend, the versatility of the colors, and you were getting a luxury product curated by a professional makeup artist.

This palette has been discontinued since writing this post; however theres a great alternative in the Biba eyeshadow palette also by Natasha Denona. The color story is similar except for the addition of a few shimmer shades, also perfect for a soft glam look.

#5 M.A.C.’s Cremesheen Lipstick in Shade Hot Gossip (Discontinued)

Don’t you just hate when companies discontinue your favorites! Like, why didn’t anybody ask me about this first?! Although Hot Gossip has been laid to rest, the cremesheen line still remains. An alternative choice would be the shade Modesty.

I like the cremesheen lipsticks because it gives my lips a break from all the matte products I tend to gravitate to during the week when I’m at work. This is because I talk to clients all day long and oftentimes I want to wear something long lasting so I don’t have to continue to re-apply.

This lipstick is creamy, buildable, has a semi gloss finish, and keeps your lips super hydrated. The only downside is that since it is so balmy, it doesn’t last very long on the lips so make sure you take the tube with you for touch ups on the go.

The shade is a bestseller and sells for $23. Find it at maccosmetics.com.

#6 Flower Crown Lip Gloss by MORPHE Cosmetics

I love MORPHE Cosmetics’ Lip Glosses! I like the universally flattering shade ranges and the formulas that give that high shine you expect from a gloss without being too sticky. They are a great price point at about $14. Its on sale at the time of this post for $9.50 here: Flower Lip Gloss. It also has 4.6 out. of5 starts on the companies website at the time of this post.

Flower is a peachy-pinky shade that’s great as a high shine lipstick topper. I haven’t found a lipstick shade yet that it doesn’t compliment. It’s also buildable so you can go from barely-there to full coverage.

Achieving a natural everyday soft glam makeup look can be easily done by using just a few of the right products. Start with a good foundation that mimics skin and provides good coverage. Add subtle touches of bronzers for a natural looking contour and choose long-lasting eyeshadows to define your eyes. Finish your look with a light lip color for an overall soft, yet glamorous look.
